The first Pet Superstore was opened the following year and over the next 15 years Wilsons have become the leading pet superstore chain in the Midlands with 10 successful supertores.

In 2008, The Wynnstay Group Plc took over Wilsons and formed a new company called Just for Pets Ltd. This marked the start of a new and exciting era in the history of the company and the development of a plan to expand more rapidly.

Just for Pets aims to open a new, national chain of pet superstores and will continue to maintain the high standards customer advice and care that our customers have come to expect. Wynnstay is also a company that recognises the importance of high standards of customer care and a motivated and respected team of staff in every store. Just for Pets now has the backing and ambition of a PLC behind it.

The challenge is to roll out a national chain that continues to lead the way in pet retailing.

Most staff have been with us for many years, often starting as part time assistants, working their way up to managers of their own successful pet superstore.

Our aim is to build a team of friendly, helpful, experienced, highly-trained, well-qualified and happy people to welcome our customers to our store.

Full training is given to all of our staff, so that they are confident in the advice they give and get satisfaction from doing their job well.
